The Commodore C-64 is back

tl;tr - Christian Simpson is running a youtube channel focused on retro computing (of which I never heard of before).

While the first computer I laid hands on was a Commodore VC-20, I spend much more time with the Commodore 64. Admittedly, mostly playing. My journey into programming and networking started later, with an ATARI ST (and later an ATARI MEGA STE).

However, I spent numerous hours with the "bread box", together with friends competing in games which used every corner and niche of the hardware available. At that time, programming was a task of continuously optimizing resource usage to make the best out of what the hardware could provide.

Now, the Commodore 64 is back, a project propulsed by a lot of emotions and I can only add my own emotions: Amazing 😄
