Do not trust a video

anymore.

We are done. Microsoft published a research which shows that it's possible to perform "online generation of 512x512 videos at up to 40 FPS with negligible starting latency". Starting from a picture, the tool allows you to create video of a person speaking arbitrary text. Microsoft will not share the tool for ethical considerations, but if someone can do it, someone else can do it, too. Videos here.

That's relevant because it's a "yes it will happen" for this scenario:
Imagine a program that can listen to your voice, but as well analyse your eye movements, pulse, posture, facial expression (= everything). Imagine that that program has all available psychological research at hand to contextualize the data.
Imagine, that program could then create in real time content which you can not identify as being artificially created, to interact with you. Imagine that program uses all available communication techniques to influence you, based on parameters which serve the purpose of it's creator. A super human salesperson, designed to your liking.

With this dystopical thoughts I wish you nonetheless a beautiful weekend
Yours
